With Big Brother returning for an eighth season on our TVs, who could have predicted that the country would be so intrigued by watching a group of egotistical fame seeking plebs wandering around in a house?
Call me a snob, but it's a terrible statement on both the viewing public and the producers of "reality" shows. Fair play, no one is forcing anyone to actually watch the show. But I find it sad and concerning that a show that really does nothing is proving to have so much staying power.
Surely we can't all be so bored with our own lives that all we do is sit and around and watch people doing nothing???
