WOW! As a Manchester United fan I could not be any happier. I couldn't wait for the game to start. Saturday's games had come and gone, but United were not involved.. until today. And what a game. Fulham were utterly and comprehensively demolished. In all honesty I don't think for one moment, any Fulham fan would have had any complaints about the scoreline. If anything, Fulham were flattered by the scoreline.
5-1, yeah I know it was only Fulham. However United can only be expected to beat the opposition (whether they turn up or not!). The most satisfying aspect of the victory was United's play, from defense to attack, it was pleasing to the eye. It was great to see that whatever animosity that was supposed to exist between Rooney and Ronaldo was left behind back in Germany.
Long may it continue and I hope that this is a sign of things to come, especially at Old Trafford.
